Sometimes music can speak to us, offering us comfort and peace when words fail.
 
Solace Bedside Singers understand the holiday season is not a merry time of year for everyone.  For a variety of reasons we can find ourselves feeling sad, alone, overwhelmed.  We need a place to be surrounded by peace and love, we need to allow our feelings to emerge and be blanketed with care.
 
Everyone is welcome to join us in the warmth and candlelight for Moments of Solace. Sunday December 15th, 4 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church.  Wrap yourself in a comforting musical blanket and simply BE.

If you prefer to donate a grocery item to help offset the food costs, please drop off food items to the church kitchen fridge or counter by noon on Sunday, Dec. 8.
 
There will be a sign up sheet on the counter.
10 cans mushrooms
6 bunches of celery

10 cans tomato sauce (24 oz.)
5 bags of carrot

10 cooking onions
15 red, yellow or orange peppers

10 cans brown beans
5 bottles of ranch dip

10 cans mixed beans
5 boxes/bags of clementines

10 cans diced tomatoes (28 oz)
3 pounds of butter

10 green peppers
 

 
If you would prefer to make a monetary donation to support this ministry initiative, please put your donation in an envelope. Label it with your name and “Fishes and Loaves”, and submit it to Deborah V. at the church office so that this contribution can be recorded for your St. George’s charitable tax receipt.
